High-quality container system for the supply of ultrapure water

REQUIREMENT
Provision of safe ultrapure water for an AEL electrolyser with a capacity of 20 MW for the production of green hydrogen.

SOLUTION
Herco is delivering two 40-foot high cube containers including fixtures and paintwork. These are precisely customised to the requirements of the electrolyser manufacturer and supply ultrapure water of consistent quality.

SYSTEM TECHNOLOGY

  • 2x 40‘ high-cube-container including fixtures and paintwork (C5 and C4)
  • 5,8 m³ feed water tank
  • Double pressure booster system
  • Sand filter
  • Activated carbon filter
  • Dosing station
  • Permeate-staged reverse osmosis with electrodeionisation (4.5 m³/h diluate capacity)
  • 35 m³ diluate tank with nitrogen blanketing
  • UV system with polisher

RESULT
The long-lasting system extends the service life of the electrolyser thanks to an optimised technical design.

Ultrapure water system for testing PEM stacks

REQUIREMENT
Development and construction of a complete containerised ultrapure water system for testing PEM stacks within a tight timeframe of less than 20 weeks.

SOLUTION
Herco supplies a ready-to-use solution in a 40-foot high cube container. The system has been specially tailored to the requirements of PEM stack testing and provides reliable ultrapure water treatment at the highest level.

Cooling of a data centre with 100% redundancy

REQUIREMENT
Ensuring cooling water treatment in a highly sensitive data centre with high demands on redundancy and reliability.

SOLUTION
Herco supplied a customised solution in the form of three specially coated containers. The capacity of 2 x 35 m³/h fulfils the highest standards.
