How does regeneration of my DESTILLO cartridge work?

You can send in your cartridge by post or forwarding agent or bring it to us in person in Freiberg am Neckar.

During regeneration, we open and empty your DESTILLO cartridge, clean it and check it for defects. If required, defective O-rings, filter hoses and tank vents will be replaced at no additional cost to you.
Major damage, such as a defective tank, will only be remedied after consulting with you about any additional costs that it will incur.
After cleaning and testing, we refill the cartridge with a mixture of regenerated and new resin to ensure the best water quality.

The regeneration process will take 20-30 minutes. If you stop by in person, you can take your cartridge back with you on the same day. Otherwise, we will send the regenerated cartridge back to you by post or via a forwarding agent.

Please notify us of your regeneration request at least one day before delivery of the cartridge/resin by e-mail at order@hercowater.com or by telephone on +49 (0) 7141 7095 123.

Regenerations are services and are due for payment immediately upon receipt of invoice. Any existing vouchers remain valid. New vouchers will no longer be issued.

Unfortunately, it is no longer possible to pay using cash, as Herco has now switched to be completely cashless.

If something does break after many years of operation, Herco offers a comprehensive range of spare parts. With original spare parts from renowned manufacturers, the system will run for a lifetime. This is noticeable in the return on investment and saves valuable resources at the same time.

Our durable systems are designed so that they can be repaired. This is not a matter of course these days, but it is part of the Herco philosophy. Your local service partner or we will be happy to help you with your request (please always with the type number). Under Downloads, for example, we provide the "Instructions for repairing the SIATA valve V360".
